Marc Ribot Trio

Marc Ribot Trio

From his debut on Tom Waits’ album “Rain Dogs” (1985) and playing in the legendary John Lurie’s Lounge Lizzards, guitarist Marc Ribot is seen as one of the most creative artist of today. He recorded more than ninety albums under his name and took part in over a hundred others (Solomon Burke, Elvis Costello, The Jazz Passengers, Caetano Veloso, Laurie Anderson, McCoy Tyner, Arto Lindsay, Alison Krauss and Robert Plant). His various collaborations with John Zorn are especially interesting (Cobra, Bar Kokhba, Electric Masada, Filmworks…). He is presently leading a number of bands: Ceramic Dog, Sun Ship, Los Cubanos Postizos, a free-jazz-punk trio. He performs solo and with symphonic orchestras.
