Elliott Sharps Electric Willie
Guitarist, producer and composer Elliott Sharp is one of the central figures of the New York avant-garde and experimental scene since the end of the seventies until today. He published more than 80 albums, presenting himself in a variety of formats (solo, duo, groups Carbon and Terraplane, string quartets, symphonic orchestras…) and stylistic milieus - from blues and various jazz styles, via contemporary orchestra music, film music, art installations, experiments with computers and mathematical models, to noise, no-wave rock and techno music. In the project Electric Willie (vocals by Ladell Mclin and Tracie Morris), he presents an original view of the work of Willie Dixon, the father of urban blues.
